Without this change the board support for these SPEAr boards would be dropped soon. Generic board support seems to work just fine. Signed-off-by:

In preparation for the SoCFPGA support of the designware I2C driver, convert this driver to the common CONFIG_SYS_I2C framework. This patch converts all users of this driver, this is: - ST spearxxx boards - AXS101 (ARC700 platform) I couldn't test this patch on those boards. Only compile tested for all spear boards. And tested on SoCFPGA. Signed-off-by:

We are about to switch to Kconfig in the next commit. But there are something to get done beforehand. In Kconfig, include/generated/autoconf.h defines boolean CONFIG macros as 1. CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL, if defined, must be set to 1. Otherwise, when switching to Kconfig, the build log would be sprinkled with warning messages like this: warning: "CONFIG_SPL" redefined [enabled by default] Signed-off-by:

Having CONFIG_SYS_I2C_BASE requires DW I2C driver to explicitly include <arch/hardware.h> which other platforms may not have at all. It's always good to have a driver platform-independent. Signed-off-by:

UBI can mount volumes by name or number The current code forces you to name the volume by prepending every name with "ubi:". >From fs/ubifs/super.c * There are several ways to specify UBI volumes when mounting UBIFS: * o ubiX_Y - UBI device number X, volume Y; * o ubiY - UBI device number 0, volume Y; * o ubiX:NAME - mount UBI device X, volume with name NAME; * o ubi:NAME - mount UBI device 0, volume with name NAME. Now any name passed in any of the above forms are allowed. Also update the configs that referenced ubifsmount. Signed-off-by:

This patch adds support for the X600 SPEAr600 based board. Its also the first SPEAr600 board that uses the newly introduced SPEAr600 SPL support. Xloader is not necessary any more. By using the new "u-boot.spr" make target, one image will generated containing both, U-Boot SPL (with mkimage header as needed by the SPEAr BootROM, and the main U-Boot with mkimage header.
